CDL are currently helping the Royal Sussex County Hospital to repurpose 200 snorkelling masks, donated by Decathlon and SAEC, and converting them so that they may be used as PPE for front line medical staff.
Jon is busy at the Laboratory “3D printing” a specialised adaptor interface, which will then allow for this generically available snorkel mask to be converted into a respirator mask with an appropriate filter. It can also be used for a PAPR solution.
We are so happy that we have been able to help The Royal Sussex County Hospital in this time of need and make good use of our Asiga Max UV 3D printer.
Our thoughts are with all the health workers out there.
